It’s no secret the African Church is today an important contributor to global missions. Surgeons, artists, businessmen and academics are just some of the professionals represented by the ranks of missionary workers sent and supported by their African churches. For at least a century, Africans have served sacrificially, bringing the lost to Jesus Christ and planting churches.

But the 19th century was only the warm- up for a continent where the Church is well-established, Christian scholarship is thriving and the Holy Spirit is calling workers into cross-cultural ministries

In order to further fan the flames of the African missions movement, a new publication called AFRIGO has been launched. This 8-page quarterly magazine is available in English and French, and its first issue was released in February 2016.  It features articles by African missionaries, pastors and church leaders, as well as missions news and mobilisation tools.

“Too many people are still living and dying without ever coming to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ! May AfriGO help to change that reality.”
Rev. Dr. Joshua Bogunjoko
SIM International Director

"I highly recommend AfriGO to all missions practitioners. It’s a must- read magazine.”
Rev. Johnson Asare
National Director, Markaz Al Bishara, Ghana

“This magazine has the power to mobilise God’s people into active missionary service!”
Rev. Walter Madimutsa
SIM Regional Missions Mobiliser (Southern Africa)
